Rooms and Suites at Congress Hall
Stepping into our guest rooms is like stepping into a relaxing seaside cottage, yet quintessentially Congress Hall. The fresh blue and gray tones evoke the tranquility of a classic holiday by the seashore. From the floor to the ceiling, whimsical accents and splashes of color reflect a perfect day at the beach.
Each room is filled with pieces modeled after American heritage furniture with antiqued brass hardware, plush bedding and whimsical hand-dyed linen, with “Gillian’s Zebras” on the club and desk chairs. Each room is the ideal balance of simple pleasures from the past coupled with the modern luxuries of today.
To celebrate Congress Hall's bicentennial summer in 2016, each guest room and suite was thoughtfully redesigned. The main focus for the refresh was to create rooms that were comfortable and soothing, yet slightly whimsical at the same time. “A driving force for me is the thought that generations of families call this their summer home. I want my work to be part of the reason they return,” says interior designer Colleen Bashaw.
