Our delightful yellow-striped cabana-style treatment rooms set the stage for a spa experience quite unlike any other, inspired by the healing properties of the ocean and the gentle rhythms of the seashore.

Sea Spa proudly partners with OSEA Malibu Skincare which is family owned and has operated since 1996. OSEA is natural & non-toxic, vegan, plant-based & gluten free, cruelty-free & never tested on animals and made with certified organic seaweed from Patagonia that is abundant in bioavailable vitamins, minerals and amino acids.

Sea Spa offers an enticing selection of locally sourced Beach Plum Farm amenities. Enjoy the refreshing Rosemary Mint in our Shampoo, Conditioner and Body Wash. Luxuriate in the clean scent of Lemon Verbena Body Lotion, and relax with our Lavender bath salts. Take home a farm-to-spa experience with our new amenities.

After 35 years as a bio-organic chemist, owner Dr. Vivian Valenty realized that her talent was creating products that not only solved problems but did so in a natural, healthy way. In 2007 she did just that, starting her own line of nail lacquers free from harmful chemicals, animal byproducts, and animal testing.

To this day, Dazzle Dry is the only quick-drying, long-lasting natural nail care system of its kind. It uses a signature four-step system to strengthen nails, protect against abrasion, dry in just five minutes, and deliver long-term results.

CND SHELLAC

Shellac is the brain child of a California company called Creative Nail Design, more commonly known as CND. The company says it spent five years perfecting the product. Shellac is frequently described as a hybrid of the popular gel manicure.

With gels, a thick substance is applied to the nail to build up a new surface. The gel is hardened under UV light, then smoothed and sculpted with an electric file before adding polish. Until now, gels have been the “hot new thing” in nail care. But gels get low marks from many consumers because of the potential nail damage that can result from soaking nails and fingers in strong acetone, and abrasive filing to remove the gel residue.

Shellac offers a more nail-friendly solution by taking gel to the next level — no sculpting or filing, just thin coats of polish on your natural nail, with a brief time for curing under a UV lamp between every coat. Ahern says the UV is used for 10 seconds after the base coat, and two minutes each between the two coats of color and the top coat.

BIOFREEZE

Once a muscle or joint is injured, regular exercise is typically the key to rehabilitation. But when pain limits a body’s ability to exercise, the healing process takes longer.

Biofreeze products help break this pain cycle, by relieving pain through a method known as “Gate Control,” or “gating.” In the gating process, menthol acts to stimulate specific sensory receptors in the skin, thereby blocking other receptors from sending pain signals to the brain. Biofreeze products provide temporary relief from minor aches and pains of sore muscles and joints associated with simple backache, arthritis, bruises, strains and sprains.
