Directions from Philadelphia

From Philadelphia, take I-76 East (Schuylkill Expressway) toward Atlantic City, then merge onto I-676 East / US-30 East toward the Ben Franklin Bridge. Cross the bridge into New Jersey and continue on Route 30 East toward Atlantic City. Merge onto the Garden State Parkway South and follow it to Exit 0 for Cape May. Continue on Route 109 South into Cape May, then proceed onto Lafayette Street. Turn left onto Perry Street, then right onto Congress Street. Congress Hall is located at the end of the street.

From New York City, take the Garden State Parkway South and continue for approximately 140 miles to Exit 0, the final exit for Cape May. After exiting, follow signs for Route 109 South toward Cape May. Continue straight onto Lafayette Street, then turn left onto Perry Street. Make a right onto Congress Street, and Congress Hall will be straight ahead at the end of the street at 200 Congress Place.

From Washington, D.C., take US-50 East / US-301 North toward the Chesapeake Bay Bridge and cross into Maryland’s Eastern Shore. Continue on US-50 East / US-301 North, then take US-9 East toward Delaware and follow signs for the Cape May–Lewes Ferry. Board the ferry to Cape May, and upon arrival, follow signs for Lafayette Street. Turn right onto Perry Street, then right onto Congress Street, where Congress Hall is located at the end. As an alternative route, you may take I-95 North to I-295 North in New Jersey, then connect to the Garden State Parkway South and follow it to Exit 0, continuing into Cape May via Lafayette Street, Perry Street, and Congress Street as described above.

Upon docking in Cape May, travelers are just a short 10-minute drive from Congress Hall, following Lafayette Street into the historic district.
