As the fall harvest begins, we welcome our Fall at the Farm celebrations every weekend beginning in September. S'mores by our cottage campfires beckon, and hikes around Cape May are beautiful this time of year. Fall marks Cape May's incredible Monarch butterfly and bird migration, and our series of autumn Rooted and Impression art retreat packages invite participation in-and inspiration from-these incredible natural phenomena.

Discover new ways to explore.
Congress Hall's Hidden Cape May package provides unparalleled looks at Cape May's famed Monarch butterfly and predatory bird migration, exploring sites such as our town's iconic Hawkwatch. Back at the hotel, the fall Veranda Dinner Series invites with new seasonal themes, and a Halloween Murder Mystery Weekend promises a thrill.

Discover new fall tastes on Jackson Street.
This fall at The Virginia, the Richmond Room Dinner series kicks off in September with a collaboration dinner with Beach Plum Farm. Always innovated and exceptional, these dinners are a way for Executive Chef Jason Hanin to flex his creativity and cook with new influences. “There are a lot of fads in the world of food and beverage” says Chef Jason, “and I've never felt drawn to those. The same basic principles apply. Take your craft seriously and never stop learning, never stop being inspired.”
In addition, The Virginia's Sweet Amalia Oyster Getaway package affords guests the chance to experience the world of oyster farming firsthand. On the storied banks of the Delaware Bay, you'll receive a shucking lesson and an oyster tasting led by Sweet Amalia's experienced oyster farmers. And, to round out your stay in Cape May, you'll enjoy a world-class dinner in the Ebbitt Room that incorporates tide-to-table oyster recipes from Chef Hanin.
