Our Summer Wellness Activities

There are plenty of ways to spend a perfect day at Congress Hall: a coffee on the Veranda, a few hours under our pink star umbrellas on the beach, a splash in the pool. But for some guests, the day doesn’t really begin until there’s been a good stretch, a solid sweat, or at the very least, some movement.

We get it. And we’ve got options.

We invite you to join us every morning for a lineup of wellness favorites designed to kickstart your day—starting with Beach Bootcamp. It’s a full body workout that meets you where you are (physically and motivationally!) led by our experienced instructor Donna Valentine.

If your idea of morning movement is a little slower, energizing morning Beach Yoga might be your perfect match. It’s equal parts grounding and revitalizing, with a soundtrack of ocean waves and seabirds that no playlist could ever compete with.

For those looking to add a little structure and rhythm to their wellness routine, we also offer dedicated yoga experiences on alternating days. Rise with the Sun Yoga welcomes early risers to the beach for a slow, soulful start to the day—stretching, breathing, and moving as the sun climbs the horizon. Evening Wind Down Yoga is the perfect counterpart, offering a gentle, restorative flow—ideal for releasing the day and easing into your evening.

Perfect for every body and every skill level, Gentle Stretch Class in the Harrison Room is a guided movement class designed to improve flexibility, release tension, and help ground you. It’s a thoughtful, restorative way to tune into your body, and our only indoor wellness class.

Then there’s Aqua Aerobics, one of our newest wellness additions and a soon-to-be favorite. Held in the pool, it’s a refreshing, low-impact class that easy on the joints but will still leave you feeling strong and accomplished. Plus, there’s something undeniably satisfying about finishing a workout already in the pool.

If you’re craving something to refuel post-class, our newly opened Smoothie Shop at Tommy’s Folly Ice Cream and Smoothie Shop is serving up fresh blends packed with feel-good ingredients—perfect for sipping on the Veranda or taking to the beach.
