HISTORY TOURS

at Congress Hall

Did you know that Congress Hall is the oldest seaside hotel in America? Or that four sitting presidents have stayed there? And that one of those presidents set up office in the hotel’s ground floor, establishing the first Summer White House? On a Congress Hall History Tour, you'll be guided through the grand hotel's storied past. Led by "Annie Knight" who owned the hotel from 1904-1931, our 60-minute History Tours are an interactive and engaging way to learn all about the Big House by the Sea.

It will be quite a night this October 25th as Congress Hall's Ballroom transforms into the ultimate Halloween Party: The Masquerade Ball. Enjoy a signature festive cocktail and some treats as you dance the night away. Wear your favorite costume for a chance to win prizes in costume categories like Best Masquerade Theme and more. Be sure to bring a splendid mask to hit the dance floor.

The Congress Hall Bike Shop is your one-stop resource for rentals of singles, doubles, and children's bicycles, as well as whole-family surreys and all the supplies you'll need for a day of pedaling around town. We've partnered with Cape Island Bikes to provide a seamless rental experience as well as service and sales of bicycles like Benno, Tuesday Cycles, Fuji, and Biria.

At Beach Plum Farm Explorers will get the chance to plant a garden, create nature-inspired art, learn about archery, farm life and more!
