Fire + Harvest Dinner Series: Chef Eli Collins

Beach Plum Farm welcomes Chef Eli Collins, Executive Chef of a.kitchen+bar in Philadelphia, for a special collaborative dinner with Beach Plum Farm Chef Gus Zimmerman on Tuesday, November 17 at 6:00 PM.

Set in Philadelphia’s Rittenhouse Square, a.kitchen+bar is a James Beard Award-nominated restaurant from High Street Hospitality Group. Known for seasonal, French-influenced American cooking rooted in exceptional ingredients, the restaurant also boasts a celebrated wine program, having been named one of Wine Enthusiast’s 50 Best Wine Bars and earning Wine Spectator’s Best of Award of Excellence (Two Glasses). Under Executive Chef Eli Collins’ leadership, a.kitchen+bar was recognized among The New York Times’ 25 Best Restaurants in Philadelphia, while Collins was named Best Chef in Philadelphia Magazine’s 2022 “Best of Philly” awards. A.kitchen is the restaurant where you’ll see your favorite Philly chefs and owners dining on their day off.

Together, Chefs Collins and Zimmerman will showcase produce harvested from Beach Plum Farm’s fields alongside the farm’s heritage pork. Fire, smoke, French technique, and the flavors of the late-fall harvest will shape a multi-course dinner that brings together both chefs’ cooking styles while keeping the farm at the heart of the experience.
