The most straightforward route is to take I-76 East (Schuylkill Expressway) toward the Walt Whitman Bridge, then continue into New Jersey following signs for Route 42 South or the Atlantic City Expressway. From there, merge onto the Garden State Parkway South at Exit 7S and follow it all the way to Exit 0 for Cape May. After exiting, continue on Route 109 South toward Cape May, then turn right onto Stevens Street, where Beach Plum Farm will be on the left.
Travelers should take the New Jersey Turnpike South and use Exit 11 to merge onto the Garden State Parkway South. Continue on the Parkway to Exit 0 in Cape May, then follow Route 109 South into town. A right turn onto Stevens Street will lead directly to Beach Plum Farm.
One option is to take US-50 East across the Chesapeake Bay Bridge and continue toward Lewes, Delaware, where you can board the Cape May–Lewes Ferry. Another option is to travel north on I-95, cross the Delaware Memorial Bridge, and follow Route 40 East or Route 55 South to connect with the Garden State Parkway South. From there, take Exit 0, continue on Route 109 South, and turn right onto Stevens Street to arrive at Beach Plum Farm.
For guests arriving by air, several airports provide convenient access to Cape May. The closest option is Cape May Airport (WWD), located about 15 minutes away, which accommodates private and limited regional flights. Atlantic City International Airport (ACY) is about one hour from the farm and offers select commercial service. For the widest range of domestic and international flights, Philadelphia International Airport (PHL), approximately one and a half hours away, is the most convenient major hub. Another option is Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR), located roughly three hours away, serving as a major international gateway for the region.
The Cape May–Lewes Ferry provides a scenic and convenient connection between Lewes, Delaware, and Cape May, New Jersey, crossing the Delaware Bay in approximately 85 minutes. The ferry accommodates both vehicles and walk-on passengers and operates year-round with varying seasonal schedules. Reservations are strongly recommended, particularly during peak travel seasons.
