The group will meet at the flagpole on the Grand Lawn of Congress Hall to start the journey. From there we will walk across Beach Ave to the Prominade and up to Decatur Street and then turn around and walk down to the cove which will take approximately 45 minutes. Returning to Congress Hall from The Cove will take about 10-15 minutes. The walk will end back at the flagpole on the Grand Lawn, dropping you off right where you started.
Along the Cape May Prominade, there are many intriguing things to keep an eye out for, from the ocean and sand to historic buildings and more modern structures. During the walk down to the cove, you will be able to watch the sky change colors and see a small portion of our wonderful town. While watching the sunset you will be able to see the Cape May Point Lighthouse in the distance across The Cove with a beautiful backdrop.
