Overnight guests of The Virginia Hotel are welcome to use the Family-Friendly Pool at Congress Hall.
Congress Hall's sunny yellow and white-striped Pool Tents feature comfortable seating for your whole group! Spend the day poolside in shaded comfort, enjoying selections from our delicious food and cocktail menu.
When you get thirsty, enjoy a bottle of ice-cold water. Order a tall iced lemonade or a refreshing fruit smoothie for the perfect summertime treat. Splashing in the pool and building sandcastles can always work up an appetite, so order from our delicious food menu, made fresh and delivered right to your chair.
Please note that alcoholic beverages are not permitted on Cape May City beaches.
Cape May's wide, breezy, white-sand beaches are regularly named among America's best in numerous annual surveys, so we know you're going to want to spend a lot of time on them-especially since you're being pampered by our beach staff!

Overnight guests of The Virginia Hotel are welcome to use Beach Service on the beach in front of Congress Hall.
Nestled along the sand, our vibrant red and white-striped Beach Tents are the ultimate oceanfront luxury. Equipped with comfortable loungers, a table, ice-cold drinks, and personalized service, you can enjoy the sun and sea in style while staying cool in your own shaded retreat.
The beaches in front of our properties are public and are shared with our neighbors and visitors. Please take note of the following rules so that everyone may enjoy wonderful day by the water.
Our attendants will set up your chairs, umbrellas and towels once most members of your party arrive and are ready to occupy their chairs. Please note that we cannot set up chairs in advance. City laws forbid us from doing so-please do not ask our attendants to bend the rules (however nicely you do it!). Beach attendants will arrange the set-ups on a first-come, first-served basis, once guests are present. This applies to families, multiple families, and groups. We hope that you trust us to try to accommodate your needs while respecting the public aspect of our beautiful beach.
Please notify our attendants if you intend to be away from your chairs for more than 30 minutes. They will happily collect your chairs and umbrellas and reset them upon your return.
Alcohol is not permitted on the beaches of Cape May. We do, however, have a selection of water, sodas, and juices.
