A Vegan Feast at Beach Plum Farm

Acclaimed chef Michael Schultz will host a very special tasting menu
at Beach Plum Farm on Wednesday, September 30.
Chef Schultz is offering a nine-course vegan feast utilizing the finest produce from Cape Island and South Jersey. "I've been a vegan for five years and this is what I really love to cook," he says. "I've been watching Beach Plum Farm evolve over the years and I'm excited to host this dinner. Each course has at least one item grown at Beach Plum, and sometimes three or four."

Exquisite Local Ingredients


Driftwood from the island, plus pine and oak leaves, wild herbs and sea water were all utilized in the preparation and cooking of Chef Schultz's exquisitely presented dishes.
Chef Schultz began his culinary career as a teenager in Cape May. He went on to cook at some of the world's best restaurants, including Daniel in New York City, Alinea in Chicago, The French Laundry in Napa Valley and Astrid Y Gaston in Lima, Peru. He spent this past summer in his Cape May hometown before his next venture, opening the world's greenest eco resort in San Pedro, Belize.
