Step beyond Congress Hall and explore the buildings, architecture, and stories that helped shape Cape Resorts. This guided walking tour through the heart of Cape May visits several properties connected to our history, offering a closer look at the people and places behind the resort.
Along the way, we’ll visit former Congress Hall owner Annie Knight’s house and the Seven Sisters, now part of The Virginia’s cottages. We’ll also see where the Great Fire of 1878 began, along with several other notable buildings and architectural details. Discover how Cape May rebuilt and reinvented itself after tragedy, and how that history continues to inspire the Cape Resorts story today.
The tour follows an easy, approximately half-mile loop through the neighborhood.
