Celebrate the heart of summer with Independence Week at The Pridwin, a beloved tradition on Shelter Island that blends timeless charm with festive, family-friendly fun. Beginning on July 4, check in to The Pridwin, were you can see the fireworks from other towns glimmer across the water. Throughout the week, we’ve peppered in an exciting roster of guest activities, in addition to our daily offerings of fishing, cornhole, pickleball, and kayaks.
The grand finale arrives on July 12, when the skies above Shelter Island light up in a stunning fireworks display—best viewed from The Pridwin’s shoreline. It’s a celebration of summer, community, and the enduring magic of time spent together.
