This summer, Beach Plum Farm invites guests to slow down and savor Monday evenings with our Saltwater Sessions, a new weekly dinner experience designed to offer a serene, farm-side alternative to the bustling boardwalk. As many restaurants take the night off, Beach Plum Farm steps in to provide an unforgettable evening of fresh seafood, local wine, and community under the open sky.
Start the evening with an hour of leisure filled with lawn games, a curated raw bar featuring Cape May oysters and shrimp, and wine from local vineyards. During this time, you’ll mingle and learn with our team about how Southern New Jersey’s coastal climate shapes its regenerative farming and winemaking. Afterward, gather at long communal tables set with seafood house linens, butcher paper, and fresh-picked flowers. Dinner begins with a Daily Harvest Salad and farm-fresh tomato bread, followed by a Daily Catch Entrée with house-pickled coleslaw, Old Bay fries, and seasonal corn succotash. The evening concludes fireside with dessert, shared stories, and new friendships—a perfect ending to a night rooted in the simple pleasures of good food and great company.
