Decades before its 2002 renovation and grand re-opening Congress Hall was host to one of the biggest Fourth of July celebrations on the entire New Jersey shore.  It was always a memorable occasion with the grand lawn alive with music and laughter as families from Cape May and all over the region celebrated their patriotism with a classic American icon.

Happily, we’ve resurrected this wonderful tradition and every Fourth of July our grand lawn is once again full of children racing each other in potato sacks, live Dixieland jazz and the delicious smell of barbecue and lobster.   It’s a long, fun, memorable day and everyone’s just about ready to sink down into the grass or sand with a cool drink as night falls for the spectacular fireworks display.

Fourth of July isn’t the only season to celebrate at Cape Resorts.   We make of point of taking every season and every holiday just as seriously.   Easter is a joyful celebration of spring complete with Easter egg hunts in the garden and a delicious brunch with all the fixings.  Easter falls between a two week long Spring Break experience fill with great activities for children of all ages.  Christmas time is even better and families love to visit with us to enjoy the holiday shopping village, breakfast with Santa and story time with Mrs. Claus, rides on the Congress Hall Express, carols on the lawn and our ever-popular tree lighting celebration.

Whatever the holiday you can always count on us to make a special effort to capture the true spirit of the season and to deliver that perfect experience that will have you smiling for weeks afterwards.
