The Virginia was the absolute ideal setting for our shore wedding in so many ways! The intimate setting of the Ebbitt Room was perfect. The open dining room, charming bar, tasteful colors and decor, comfy wrap around porch, and all around intimate ambiance was such a lovely setting to our smaller wedding. The Virginia is both comfortable and elegant, laid back and chic, and exactly the kind of setting we envisioned. The food and drink were delicious! Our signature drink, the ginger lemonade was the perfect summertime refreshment. The cocktail hour food and entrees were both beautifully presented and tasty.
The professionalism and helpfulness of the people we worked with at the Virginia was impeccable. I can't say enough good things about the wedding coordinator, who was available and full of information, whether it be vendor suggestions, different table layouts that have been used or hashing out the details of the day and timeline of events. Her professionalism and obvious experience made her easy to trust and she put us all at ease. She ensured the wedding day followed the timeline in such a seamless and unobtrusive way. Even the wait staff and bartender were so nice and accommodating. They all seemed genuinely happy to share in our special day. I do not think we could have been happier with our experience at The Virginia. It was such a perfect day and our absolute favorite wedding picture is a group photo with our closest family and friends gathered on the charming front porch of the hotel.

With the new renovations to the Ebbitt Room, we loved the idea of closing off the restaurant for the entire reception. The back garden/porch area is beautiful, but we decided that hosting the ceremony on the staircase in front of the stained glass window was perfect. It created a feeling of being in a church with the gorgeous window, plus it was an intimate area where we would be surrounded by our family and friends. Justin sealed the deal for us with his charismatic personality, excitement, and welcoming environment. Jimmy and I actually only looked at The Virginia, and walked out that day knowing we had to have our wedding there!
The next couple of months were composed of planning, emails, meetings, phone calls, and most importantly the tasting. The Virginia set up an amazing tasting dinner for us. The food was outstanding, and this moment got us even more excited because we knew our guests were going to love the venue and the menu. They had an amazing presentation for us and the server took great care of us! The day of the wedding was flawless. I arrived first with my bridesmaids. We walked through the front door, and I almost cried – it looked so pretty! I had many of my guests tell me after that it was the prettiest venue for a ceremony that they had ever attended. I could not be happier I picked The Virginia Hotel. They were so accommodating from start to finish. The best part is I can have dinner anytime at The Ebbitt Room to relive the best day of my life.
I cannot thank them enough!

My husband and I had our wedding at The Ebbitt Room. Planning an out of state wedding can be hard but the wedding team was always available with suggestions or advice as I did my planning. Our wedding was very small, 12 people total, so the ceremony was held on the back patio which was perfect! Our reception was dinner in their private dining room, which was amazing, far from typical food you would expect for a wedding. The staff was wonderful, they helped us pick out menu items, handled the ceremony and reception set up and throughout our stay at The Virginia, they took care of us in every way. All and all we had an amazing couple of days at the Virginia Hotel! I am writing this review as a happy bride but I truly think the Virginia Hotel is as accommodating to everyone not just us because we were getting married. Thank you Virginia Hotel for making our wedding amazing!!

Our wedding at The Virginia was an elegant and unforgettable event! The garden was the perfect location for our intimate wedding. The Virginia’s list of top-notch vendors helped to ensure beautiful photos, flowers and ceremony. Our truly amazing dinner, catered by The Ebbitt Room, still has our guests raving months after the wedding! The entire staff at The Virginia was attentive and gracious in making sure our day was perfect. We can't thank them enough.
