Just a short walk from Main Street in the historic village of Sag Harbor, Baron’s Cove will be a perfect base for exploring the Hamptons, the Peconic Bay, and all of the beaches, dining, shopping and culture that Eastern Long Island offers. Currently undergoing an extensive renovation, the finished resort will offer vacationers an ideal location featuring Cape Resorts' signature style, which seamlessly blends local history and modern comforts.

The 67-room inn will feature a range of room types, from private garden terraces, loft suites with balconies, and town rooms. Following the opening of Baron’s Cove in spring of 2015, guests are sure to be spoiled by the comfortable furnishings and décor inspired by the sea.

Just minutes from the villages of East Hampton, Southampton and Bridgehampton, Baron’s Cove will also offer guests easy access via nearby ferry to Shelter Island and the North Fork wine country. And when all of your exploring is done, enjoy a lazy afternoon on the beach, or come back to Baron’s Cove to relax by the pool. Once evening comes, there’s nothing like enjoying a pre-dinner cocktail and watching the sun set over the harbor from the deck of our restaurant loft.

All aspects of Baron’s Cove will be enhanced during the renovation, including a new lobby bar and 87-seat restaurant, indoor and outdoor fireplaces, and all of the amenities guests have come to expect from Cape Resorts, The emphasis is on comfort, including triple-sheeted guest rooms, concierge services, and a private beach shuttle to eliminate the hassle and expense of beach parking in the Hamptons.

Dear Friends,

On the far eastern end of Long Island New York, lies Sag Harbor, a historical village that harmoniously melds the past and present. It's home to our newest project, Baron's Cove Resort, and the home of what we like to think of as our kindred spirit – The Sag Harbor Whaling and Historical Museum.

Baron's Cove Resort will open in Sag Harbor in spring 2015, but the work is underway now, as is our burgeoning partnership with the museum. We have partnered with The Sag Harbor Whaling and Historical Museum to help restore the once illustrious front porch, and to make the museum accessible to the handicapped. We, together with another prominent local business, are helping the museum fund this project in a new, innovative way.

By joining forces with individuals like you and fellow lovers of historic preservation and communities like Sag Harbor, we will all help the museum achieve their fundraising goal.

Visit Goodcircle.org and see the details. We need to raise roughly $5,000 through individual donations; we've committed to matching those funds. We know we can do it by partnering together!

Please donate by May 15, 2014! We've got 30 days to make it happen. Happy spring, and we'll keep you posted on the progress of this project. Thank you!
