Tours Daily May through October

There’s more than sunshine to soak up at America’s first seaside resort. One of the first showplaces is Cape May’s only Victorian house museum, the 1879 Emlen Physick Estate, located at 1048 Washington Street. This 18-room mansion is a perfect example of Stick Style architecture, and a must-see step back into the past for visitors. Out at Cape May Point State Park, you’ll find the 1859 Cape May Lighthouse, also fully restored and still a working beacon for mariners that welcomes thousands of visitors each year. A little further down Sunset Boulevard is the recently restored World War II Lookout Tower, used to help protect our shores during World War II. This historic landmarks have been restore and are maintained by the Mid-Atlantic Center for the Arts & Humanities (MAC), which provides year-round tours and events.
